Personally, I think that if they didn't wipe to get rid of the 1x1 fields they're never going to wipe. I mean, didn't the dev's have to go farm by farm and individually find all the 1x1 jackasses.

They had database for that but now it is bit more complicated to clear this mess they done in last update.

They could of course just undo it. But like I've said many, many times now it just needs some tweaks, hell I'd be happy with braziers just hitting for more perma-stat damage.

Items bought for real money are retained in case of a wipe. You'll get all the items you bought back in the new world if a wipe were to happen. Not that I believe that it will happen.

if youve been reading at all you can find the posts where the wipe was originally brought up (and not by anyone with any wipe power).

The reaction to this patch makes me think people must quit each Thursday. If this is the way purity is to be implemented then so be it, post about it, make suggestions but all in all, deal with it move forward, if its not working as intended they will tweak it like they have with the fences on numerous occasions.

And as you can see it doesn't explicitely exclude that there won't be wipes. Just that they weren't in the plans.

And plans can change. Especially after tables are turned, like with this update and the ones that will follow.
