With that many braziers where the hell do I put stuff?

I'm supposed to actually live in there somewhere *chuckles* but thanks for the input

And yeah, i'm looking to be secure from casual raiders, I dont intend to upset anyone and dont use any crimes.

clouddog should add simple detail: there is *little* mine inside castle

U wanted a smaller base,
i will explain the picture.
Middle has a mine and enough space for crushers, smelters ur leantos, whatever.
Middle braziers is in the number of 100-150ish, goal is so atleast 20 braziers covers any area of atk on the wall.
they are also reinforced by their own wall for that little extra protection.
Then its several gates out to the "farming baking whatever u want area" be sure to space out braziers with a few squares between them so they can shoot alittle on ppl who bash ur wall.
South extra thing i made was a coal factory and u can have a coal factory inside the mine too if u want but its good to have alot of spare coal in the mine free to refill braziers in need of an atk
To be honest i got no idea what ur after so im just drawing lines.

I really do appreciate the input, but let me point out, uh, I'm just a hermit girl, who wants to craft stuff and raise crops, metal would be cool but not necessary, just want to farm a bit, craft a bit and beat up on small animals. In relative safety.
This MIGHT be a little.... overkill?

Nice drawings. I havent dabbled much in wall and gate construction. What is harder to destroy? Wall or gate? If wall is harder, it would be best to have as few gates as possible. Gates should not be facing eachother to make the walk as far as possible. Several walls spaced out is good atm. Also you should have multilayered walls with the weakest wall closest to the exterior. (At least right now before the devs change everything again.) I wont build any walls any time soon until the mechanics are settled.

They have equal HP. Two people can attack a gate at once, though. I saw one design (from realak, I believe) that had staggered gates, but that was before the splash damage nerf to stacked walls.
I am a moderator. I moderate stuff. When I do, I write in this color.
