It says they become destructible after X amount of hours. It doesn't say anywhere that they then become indestructible again, so I'm assuming they are destructible during the "destruction time."

Even if they made the window 8-12 hours it would be a lot more manageable for hermitages...
With waste-claims you don't have to scout area every day, you are doing it only when your camp/town is in danger - 1000x better than rams.
