Idk why we didn't just get a new wall type and rams with rams being the only thing to be able to break the wall... this new thing is just odd...
Even if they made the window 8-12 hours it would be a lot more manageable for hermitages who can't fight back against 5 people guarding the totem

It says they become destructible after X amount of hours. It doesn't say anywhere that they then become indestructible again, so I'm assuming they are destructible during the "destruction time."

With waste-claims you don't have to scout area every day, you are doing it only when your camp/town is in danger - 1000x better than rams.

I was originally against this update but I have now been swayed.

It seems to have both pros and cons for BOTH raiders and defenders which makes me ultimately concede to this update.

Dude, you can't quote only part of the sentence, and still have it maintain it's entire meaning.

The defending parties now have a distinct target to attack in order to disrupt and presumably end the attack entirely, and they also have a four hour window during which they can attack the Waste Claim even though their own buildings are still safe from attack, thus hopefully mitigating the lopsided attacker's advantage that (in our humble opinions) previously existed.


This is just sayin that they have 4 hrs to destroy it before they have to worry about their **** being destroyed. It doesn't mean that this 4 hours is their only chance to destroy it.

If your playstyle is thievery, I don't really see how this patch affects that. As far as I understood, you can still access unlocked claims using larceny and have all the fun you want, even without a waste claim.

If you're a small-scale raider, however, you have my condolences.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken but isn't this almost entirely a nerf to raiders? Before they could hit you whenever they wanted and with as long of a gap as they wanted. Now not only do you have time to prepare but you also have the opportunity, no matter how small, to try to prevent the raid. I don't see how this screws anyone over?
