You are a downright idiot.

Capitalism is FAR superior to Socialism

All you did here was immediately resort to name calling and then argue about something that no one is disagreeing with you about.

If you really want a serious discussion about Capitalism, you should go read ShadowTani's post again and try for a more reasoned reply. He didn't argue that Socialism is better than Capitalism, he argued that Capitalism is not a superior socioeconomic system. It has many problems of its own, especially the way we're using it in the US. If you look at the state of the US, we're heading downhill fast. We're better off than a number of other countries, to be sure, but only because we started out well and have a ways to fall.

I repeat again, someone who thinks Capitalism is NOT superior to Socialism even though: Capitalist countries have better health, people in them have a greater chance of becoming rich/succesful, people are much more free to do whatever the hell they want to, all of the citizens have equal rights, no other system has proven itself so succesful, people are more happy, there's fewer dictators and the market is free not planned, is in my opinion an idiot.

Setting a dilemma like this is hyper-simplified. Like US elections.
there are types and types of capitalism and socialism, those are not one thing each. hence your dilemma is doomed to produce hypothetical and incomplete answers.
but then again... you may have a lot of free time because you happen to live in a capitalist country ? ¦]

capitalism is a good idea on paper but then you get people who are in power that do not know how to handle the power right. socialism is better for the majority of people. i agree with the one poster who said other systems are best though. a system where everybody is equal and the people who do better are then forced to use their power for good would be ideal. im sure we will get there.

Most large developed nations use both Capitalist and Socialist system why is this always posed as some odd dichotomy.
Also those are very broad terms what type of Capitalism and Socialism are you even talking about?

In reviewing your recruitment post, and now this...

You are probably NOT one of the people who "do better", because if you were, you'd strongly be against being "forced" to do what you do better so that others - some of whom would not think twice if you perished - can get ahead. The whole notion of forcing the producers in an economy to produce is completely failed. We know cows produce better milk when they are not forced to produce it. Why do you have the illusion that forcing humans to do work ever yields the cream of the crop?

All the greatness in the modern world stems from some form of freedom, and the most freedom and the most greatness has come about when America opened up and made freedom an institution, and an idea worth fighting for.

You do realize that saying "are then forced to use their power for good" is no different than slavery?
