I am not a moderator, I just felt like writing in green today, hope I don't get banned :D

Well it's April 20th Salemites! Springtime! A good day to plant your crops for the year. What Strange, Interesting or Bizarre crops would you like to see the Devs grow this year?

My list:

Fruit Trees (Apples first, then whatever else they want)
Potatoes
Carrots or Beets
More Native American Wild Plants Like Rubarb and Strawberries
Let's tap all those Maple Trees for Syrup already

Add some more of the HnH crops:
Tobacco
Hops
Grapes
and of course Hemp (I'm sick of making rope with hay  )

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

Indigo. Was a prominent early colonial crop. Used for dyes. In game could be used for dying clothes different colors or sold to stalls for export like cotton

Tomatoes, potatoes would be cool

I proposed some crops in the past, so instead of repeating I'll just link the old post: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1411&hilit=potatoes#p15832

Three sisters farming being a skill you can unlock. ( Beans, pumpkin, corn together) which also unlocks some indigenous recipes.

I'd like to see cranberries being a bush that grows only in swamps.

Blueberries.
Strawberries

Yes on fruit trees, would make grinding purity trees mean something. I say apple and pear. Eventually nut trees, hickory, chestnut, walnut.

Yes on potatoe farming, with maybe mandrake root being a rare inspirational you sometimes get when harvesting. Or maybe "potatoe of a thousand eyes".

I'd like to get sunflower seeds from a beaming sunflower and be able to plant fields of them as opposed to just potting them.

Don't forget pee-cans. That's pecans for all you non-Southerners. (though they are a variety of hickory)
