Magic the gathering

Postby Dallane » Fri Feb 15, 2013 12:33 am

I see alot of us play/played so lets have a thread on it finally.

Right now I play online due to not really knowing the local scene. I do drafts now and then but mostly play pauper. Love my infect, delver and WW decks. Looking to play gobs next.

LMAO Coles. Actually I have played Pokemon and YuGiOh (kids). I used to play Magic back in the day until someone stole my tin with my decks and accessories. I miss it.

Both. I was a step or two away from playing on the Magic Pro Tour in the mid-late 90s.

I play poker online as much as I think I can get away with, but I had a small bankroll locked up on Full Tilt Poker with Black Friday. I kind of bounced around a good bit, but I had it up to over $100 at one point playing penny and nickel cash games and $1 tourneys. (Burned it up trying to move up a level and was in the process of building back up again.) Unfortunately, the smallest game locally is $1/$2 blinds, and I don't have the money to bankroll at that.

I used to work with the inventor of Magic the Gathering's cousin.

But back on topic: I have to agree with staxjax, pogs were pretty great, but there was always that kid who was stealing people's slammers. I bet the Chief used to hoard stolen slammers.

Used to play pokemon? You're NEVER too old for pokemon.
