Looking for EU mods!

Greetings community!

With the recent addition of yet another US based mod we (read: I) realized that it's getting a little silly not to have more mods from Europe. So in order to increase response time on reports and general mod presence during EU-daytime I have decided to open recruitment for two (2) new EU based mods.

In order to apply for this position you need to meet the following criteria.

- At least 18+ years of age.
- Be able to check the forum on a daily basis.
- Fluent in English.
- Be based in Europe OR be regularly active on the forums during EU-daytime (~10 AM - 5 PM CET)

These are of course only the must haves. The following criteria are highly valued.

- A good posting history with helpful / mature / constructive content.
- No previous punishments or warnings.
- Experience as a moderator / admin on other forums or work experience with customer service.
- Above average knowledge of the game.
- Good knowledge on current and previous forum/game events/drama.

The Salem forum is in many ways a large part of the actual game itself. This means that moderation does in many ways have a chance to affect in-game happenings and events. As a moderator I expect you to be able to check the forums at least once daily in order to respond to PM's tickets but preferably more than that. You are also expected to moderate in an impartial fashion and not let your in-game interests or goals come in the way of your tasks as a member of the team.

To apply, send me a private message with the subject [EU-MOD]NAME GOES HERE and all the information you feel is needed for a proper application, following the guidelines above. This PM will then be posted as an application in the mod forums and discussed / voted upon.

This is not a timed event and the recruitment will stay open until we have found two users that meet our requirements.

This is a joke, eh? Only two of the existing mods meet that requirement - and I'm not even sure whether they're still active. I always thought that to qualify for mod on these boards one should rather be hostile / rude / impolite instead of helpful / mature / constructive.

Ill put myself forward for moderation.

Considering i have helped more people in the help section + bug section than any of the current mods, and i seem to have on-par posting slurs some of the current mods have, i feel i fit the position pretty well.
