Your sense of beauty

Postby Flame » Fri May 27, 2016 7:14 pm

This is a "I would know" topic and my question is really simple.
I would know a list of things that you think are "aesthetically nice" for you and, if you can, say a bit in detail what you like of it.
It can be a background, a house, a paint, a game, a face, a style. Whatever comes up in your mind.

Why this question?
Because the concept of "beauty" is not absolute, so i want to see the difference between my country sense of beauty and yours. (even when people have his own sense of beauty, there is a more generic sense shared between near people)

Well.

Vastness or extremely dense complexity.

this thread would be a lot more interesting and a lot easier to look past the futility of if it was instead the "post pictures of attractive scantily clad women" thread.

Looking up at the night sky and seeing all the billions of stars. Watching a puppy slowly fall asleep in my lap. A perfectly frosted spiderweb first thing in the morning.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Beauty is not a country wide accepted concept, regardless of where you are it differs from person to person and that is beautiful.

To me simplicity, complexity without convolution, the natural world, the passage of time, and entropy are beautiful. The cycle of life and death is the height of beauty.

Actually, there are many studies that show beauty does in fact transcend cultures.
