Trumpet Cheat Sheet

Postby Argentis » Mon Apr 13, 2015 5:47 pm

Hey Salemites

With the introduction of music in Salem I thought it would be cool to share the music you can actually play within the game. It is pretty limited - as is my understanding of music - as you can't juggle between the tone.

So here is my Cheat Sheet for playing Happy Birthday on the trumpet. It is incomplete as I can't figure out the rest of the notes. Here it goes:

C-C-D-C-F-E
C-C-D-C-G-F
C-C-A-F-E-?

I would like to learn the Bugle Taps (last call of the day and played during U.S military funerals). Can someone help me?

Happy Birthday :

CCDCFE
CCDCGF
CCCAFEDD
A#A#AFGF

Bugle Taps :
CCFCFA
CFACFACFA
FACAFC
CCF.

I'd suggest to use this to find the notes if you're not into music :) http://virtualpiano.net/

Although we don't even have an octave in Salem so it makes it a bit hard to play proper music

I'm always using C as the lowest note otherwise it would not work at all. So it doesn't give the exact same result it should, although well... It's basic transposition.
