Mining rant

Picture says it all.

The floor was clean before this prolonged session of mining. Result? 3 ore boulders out of 29 dug. That's barely over 1 in 10.

The mineing patch is coming out at the end of the month, just grit your teeth and put up with it for a few more weeks - plus those rubble boulders are ment to be useful after the patch.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

My best guess is you will be crushing up the boulders, then using the tool seen in the teaser JC is holding to sift the rock to find precious materials.

Could be wrong, but that looks like a sieve to me. Makes sense also as this was a method used.

All we need now is a prospecting pan to find stuff in the water.

Well i'm pretty sure the higher your mines and mountains the higher the chance to get ore instead of rubble, so start leveling that M&M!

I've noticed that ore boulders are concentrated in certain areas. Meaning when I get ore, I usually get a few boulders in a row from tiles located close to each other, so it might be also a spot location thing. But I wasn't mining enough to actually collect representative statistics, I probably mined only 100-150 tiles, since rubble became a thing.

I am sure i read or heard somewere that the materials in the mines come in veins.

So if you hit a metal vein, you should be able to follow it.

To help the thread owner, if you can remember were you got the ore boulders from, try digging in that area :)

The boulders came actually from 3 different corners of the mine.

If rubble becomes useful, I'm rich! I have hundreds of them.
