Being Pure in 2 elements is natures natural balance, no matter how pure it is with one high element, it will always be lonely. Even the most purest of things(Pre-Nerf Purity) can still become closer with the love of 2 elements, though they will never fully understand true balance, they can wane themselves just a little farther away from the dark corners of alchemy. As those Pre-Nerf Purities will eventually fade, only such as this Chestnut will remain, the true purity of love and harmony between the elements will show itself unto you, ex-alchemy trainee.

What exactly is he trying to say? That a 12% chestnut is the highest obtained with the new system? I don't think so.

No, 12% is not the highest obtained, it can be higher, but rather difficult seeing as the fact is I started with an 8% chestnut.

An example to work with would be to find 8% pure water and a decent lime purity, alchemy the lime as much as you can until highly unstable, which may require some repeated efforts,
Make Clay out of higher purity Milk Of Lime. Alchemy the clay, get decent granite and lime and alchemy those 2 as much as possible.
Make a pure pot.
Without pre-nerf humus or boards of the sort, you'll have to work with around 8-10% total bin and worm puritys. Which makes getting pure humus for the pot hard, but you can alchemy the humus as much as possible and use it in the pot.
Etc etc...Ramble ramble.
