Here is an RPG, turn-based strategy game about the America.

There are camping, gathering resources, works a bit like Heroes series. I'm looking forward to it.

There are some tactical turn based games out there, if that's what you want to find. There was Silent Storm series, old game but quite fun to play. Or Eador: Master of Broken World. It's more of Turn based strategy RPG.
