(Also, at every part of everyday, H&H's player numbers are higher than Salem's, just saying. I check throughout the day for curiosity sake. Right now Salem: 152, H&H: 264)

Protip: Most of them aren't people.

All I know is, H&H's status is based on unique IP addresses, don't know if Salem does the same. Right now Salem: 264, H&H: 365 unique IP addresses

Care to share a screen shot of one such mod where you think the graphics are somewhat pleasing to look at compared to the vanilla game?

Yolan on the Haven forums recently posted a picture of his city Brodgar. It uses a few graphic mods. I'm not sure if this counts as an ideal setup but I think it looks rather pleasant.
