It just means he's well-travelled, really well-travelled.

As for Thatcher, I can certainly understand why the British still harbour that much resentment towards her, but all the protesting along the route on the day she was buried, was rather tasteless.

There are so many reasons to hate Margaret Thatcher. This one is still my favorite. I should have posted it earlier. When 96 people died because the Police screwed up in a crowded stadium, Margaret Thatcher and her ministers covered it up by hiding evidence and then blamed the Victims. :(
