The hunt for Ptahil

Postby Kibbey111 » Wed Apr 17, 2013 10:15 pm

a short while back i posted that i was looking for a group with a friend of mine. We ended up getting our own little settlement going, and have since taken on several new players and wanderers we have met.

One of the earliest wanderers to pass by our way and stay to join our little group was a gentlemen by the IGN of Ptahil.

I dont know if he died or if he just left the group and unkinned all of us, but I would really like to know

Ptahil, if your reading this you can find us in Roanoke I'll be there shouting your name over and over

if anyone can help me find Ptahil i'd be most appreciative and find some way to repay you

his name moved to the bottom of the buddy list and has no kind of marker by it, but his leanto remains claimed, not sure if that means much, but i'm hopeful.

I believe if the marker by his name is gone, I think he's dead. His leanto may be claimed by someone else now.

No, the marker just means you're kinned to him. It's a torch that lights up if the person is online and goes dark when they're not. If they die, you still stay kinned to them. He must have dekinned you for some reason.

Well, if he dekinned it at least he didn't rob us blind before he left, but damn, dude had the master key to our base, now we can't build new keys for new members. That's really unfortunate.

If he has your master key, it means he can still get into your base. Even if you remove his permissions, he can get in with trespass rather than waste. You'll want to rekey those gates asap.

He can't re-key them without the master key or master copy.

He'll have to eventually break them down.

Nah, I've got a solution to that in mind already, it won't be a problem. I'll eventually break it down just because that'll annoy me, but there's an easy fix in the near future for me.

What's the fix? At least it's easier for you to break those walls now with this update.
