well now that maybe they are trying to balance the game better I am hoping that will help. Hopefully we can at least have some warning to protect your stuff and self.. lol

His stuff? Yup. Himself? No changes sadly, just claimed infrastructure. But even that is good for starting off new ^_^

This is how the game goes... its a risk everybody takes.

Sorry for your loss. But if you cant take this, then maybe Salem aint for you. Yea permadeath sucks... but our gaming forefarthers didn't have autosaves, continues and remote servers!


Put it down to a bad day, get back into your buildings and get back into enjoying the game. If you get hit again, then grab your most important gear and go for a strole and setup shop somewhere else.


Or better still pay the 2.5k silver to get a ranger to kill the smegger who killed you :)
