Circular mountain area of the map

Hello, as a new player the most things i did so far was just wandering around raising skills, getting knocked out etc... but wen i saw the world map in the wiki,
i saw a big and round area with mountains, like an island in the middle of the map but with mountains, inside there are 3 distinct islands, so, i thought i could give it a try and explore the area.

Wen i reached the center of that area (after a couple of boring hours climbing mountains) i saw that the map is completely different from the world map in the wiki, with only one big island in the middle.

Are the servers with different maps? Im playing in Roanoke

aah ok... i thought so lol, tried to use the map in the past but was allways lost because i never found anything similar between the ingame map and the wiki one, its confirmed then
