It's already a sad scenario If you do have a unused army of 2k stats alts. In a game with good mechanics you would immediately use them to raid as they are built and a fast profit.

Probably most of the profitable stuff to use these alts would be behind an iron wall within a mortar range, you still have a good chance of loosing the alt without having any item =/

Thanks for the welcome JamesBonham! This certainly is a fantastic game, toddesloan, with more players in time hopefully. No real life friends to recruit except one intrigued, Claeyt, although I can help advertise where I hang out online. As for streaming and riskiness, Strakknuva225, not my cup of tea. Threw caution to the wind, Lusewing, Salem is now under my skin like an Itchy and Scratchy show tattoo. Trust is an issue eh, Lazun123 and jakhollin, I better use my street smarts. Permadeath was a fact of life in my last game of choice for five years, and is a big reason for me being here, I love it (last will and testament is an appreciated saving grace, phew). I reserve the right to rage quit, sulk and hide away for a while, gustavohvg. Rubberduckbandit, you seem grumpy with gloominess, always look on the bright side of life. Darworth, you would make a good ally, I might have to hire your services someday. Raids scare me, but yes gustavohvg, a balanced method with counters is key.

Some first thing things I will remember about beginning Salem will be, a two day bender, investing fifteen dollars immediately, waking up to my logged on character going insane (some bottom left demon icon with voices), pressing on and abruptly being knocked out by a cougar.

I am already satisfied with my progress and enjoyment of Salem. I already look forward to making my mark on the game. I have dreams, aspirations and a vision. Bear with me brothers and sisters as I break into this scene, and help you get what I mean. I have said enough for now. Keep believing and becoming. J'adore Salem [I love Salem]!

Dear Salemites, how I am enjoying our honeymoon together. You are my sunshine on a rainy day, my sand castle on a sunny day, my toboggan on a snowy day, as you help compliment any weather. Nothing has brought me down yet, I give thanks for a fabulous first impression.

So far I continue to grow by living off the land as a hermit. I love exploring and leveling up along the way. Unused stuff started getting heavy so I settled into a humble base of operations. Just for storage really, hopefully no one will find and rob me, so I try to use up my best stuff asap. I will leave my first home behind when the time comes to move up in the world, and I grasp how to defend my interests.

Next I would like to raise silver pieces. First I tried squirrel/chipmunk pelts but not worth the time and effort involved. I think my best bet is crafting Indian necklace/charm inspirationals. Although man oh man I want to study them, doh. Hunting bigger game might have to be on the menu.

Still feel very ignorant and vulnerable. Time to make some alts and experiment. Trial by fire and error. Wee!
