I had ant invasion while living in a flat on 8th floor. For couple of weeks we could find them in every bread / cake that wasn't properly covered. Before eating anything we were thoroughly checking the food if there aren't any ants inside it. Oh the horror...

Had infest my home a few years back. Same situation except with honey. Damn ants all throughout my honey. Fixed the problem with cologne and borax.
