On the topic of the OP. We are not exactly overly concerned about current population. In fact, if the launch taunt us anything it is that for the right amount of $$ we can spike the population of Salem to far larger #'s than we feel necessary. For this reason we are focus'd only on fixing the things that have bothered us and making the experience of Salem more 'fun' while trying desperately to not have this pursuit of 'fun' destroy the grind, pain, and anguish that defines the title. There is a large probability that we will make dramatic change for Expedition #2 including an entire witch-craft rework so that witchcraft in general is more fun. Then POSSIBLY do another large marketing push for Exp #3. Third time is the charm right?

Salem is one of the rare Sandbox games, it's for free, it has decent playerbase, you can acquire everything(by buying from players) by silvers. It reminds me of Wur... who has played it, will know, and i absolutely love it, Salem is less grinding, but still has soo big potentional, just need to set it in the right way, by maybe popularizing it, which is dependant on the players & streamers :)
