Only over "wires" ie phone, internet, etc. It's not so much stopped at the player level, but rather at the bank level when a person tries to cash out their account. Bankers can get up to 10 years if I recall right for processing payments from online casinos and gaming sites. Several people have been indicted on wire fraud and money laundering trying to hide payments made to gamblers. After the "Black Friday" shutdown of the four largest poker sites in the US, there's been a lot of legal mess over site seizures, even sportsbooks. The law in question was from 1962, when the mob (and other organized crime) pretty much ran the casinos and books. Now it's a lot of North Amercian tribes running the casinos and books, or they're sanctioned in places like Ireland and Cayman Islands, where the US doesn't have any authority.

You can also cash out with Canadian banks.

NCAA related: Ohio State had a amazing 1st half then didn't want the win. Was fairly pissed when I saw that they let their tempo down because I had them winning. Big upset with villanova. I picked them to lose cept not the right team to lose too =/

Gotta love canada, where i can gamble how much i want and nobody gonna say **** bout it, until i loose my house and family :D

We won today!! Really wish I had somewhere to put that $10 bet on the game. :( Would have paid off good as the numbers were all made.

Not looking forward to that game vs UK next Sunday.

Reading through some of the sheets today, KU probably shouldn't have gotten a 2 (rep gets you bonuses) and Wichita probably should have gotten better than a 7. (I think I read UConn won from a 7 spot several years ago... would have to dig to find that again.)

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

Basketball is more boring to watch than golf is.
