When is the next world reset planned?

Genuine question, did do a search and scan read some announcement threads, but no dice. Please halp

I logged in other day for first time since well before MM tribe bought the game, and found my town untouched which was surprising for multiple reasons. I wouldn't mind trying out new patches/changes but I'd rather wait until server is fresh.

No world resets planned. If you wait for a fresh start then expeditions are your best bet (check development roadmap for more info)

Expeditions are for resets now they will reset every 6-12 months and players will have power over it (witches will) and possibly raiding will be less restricted

Weird. Thanks for tip, but the roadmap offers no explanation of what expeditions are. during searching for "expeditions" I did find what I originally wanted tho :

But there is no planned wipe for the perm server. In fact, I think last patch we proved that our character restoration databases work just fine. So even if there was some HUGE problem with the map or data etc. etc. Players are certainly going to be coming back with 'something'.

The roadmap thing is subject to change, I bet you the devs are as unsure about it as us. Anyway, don't get used to waiting for fresh start in game... Nowaday you can be competitive if you know the mechanics. So start playing now to be competitive when expedition come out.

There are no planned resets. If for some reason there is a need for resets then don't get upset, you are willingly playing a BETA. Don't base you playing on a minor setback of a reset.

You could also lose your character, items and town. This could be seen as a reset.

For the sake of clarity, I can confirm that Expeditions will be fresh, will use only brand new characters, and are expected to occur every 6-12 months. How they occur and how often will depend on the players themselves and the set of rules we decide on for the automatic end function to follow. At this time we do not intend to wipe Providence. Expect the first Expedition launch to occur with or soon after the official launch of the game
