well that would explain why i havent been able too log in... in other words, if one server crashes, in this case plymouth, others cant log in to jamestown for example.

only goes for plymouth: plymouth and the auth server are on the same machine, so if plymouth crashes noone can log in. If roanoke crashes, only we roanoke players are impeded in playing Sounds like I need a witty comment here
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

If ply is down we can't login to other servers too
I thought you were still able to login on other servers by changing a line in some file?! Don't quite remember what it was exactly, but it was posted some time back when Plymouth was down.

Rly? What line? If it is working would be nice to pin it here or make easier to find.
Like said, I don't know exactly what it was. It's on the board somewhere, might as well go look for it now that you can't play All I remember for certain is that you had to change a value in salem.jnlp so that the game didn't try to log you in through the normal auth server. Hope that helps.
Edit: Think this was it:

Login and play. I am walking around on Jamestown now.
Well that is nice to know ty. Unfortunately just prior to reading this I noticed that Roanoke has joined Plymouth with a server status of "crashed" guess it is a sign that I should be actually getting some work done.
While it doesn't the Roa players right now, it's useful to know when the auth server is down.
