You can join our discord, make friends in game and establish with 1 or 2 people, also especify your server

There are lots of friendly helpful people - we just tend to keep our heads down. Playing the game solo for a bit is actually a lot of fun and can teach you so many things. It is not an experience you will ever get again. During this time you can also post a bit in the forums and, as Nikixos said, join the Discord channel.

Depends on who you hang with but it can be fairly toxic. Most of the decent folk keep their heads down like Lusewing said. Generally stay away from the bigger forum personalities and you are solid. Discord will get you exposed to the community very quickly.
