Beware! today i was cheated by a char named Kandarim, this guy kin me when he saw my post buying high merc rods and pots, and he told me he have 80%+ rods and copper pots, when we talking about trade i said i may need an intermediate, then he said he can ask tradewinds to do the trade, then he use a forum ID named"tradewind" to pm me , i trust him because he have a famouse name,but when i put the silver first in barrel, he took the money and laughed then port away, when i try to ask him give my stuff, he began to talk ***** like "i give it to ur friends"
maybe i m foolish, but i thought i should let every else to know him

what a piece of ****, i will never trade with kandarim or tradewinds again.

It isn't Khandarim, Its this nice guy Darwoth. He had probably red coat and nice plague mask, also musketeer's hat. It's him, same happend to me. So never trust Darwoth

for the record, my character in-game is called Latikai. Whoever tried to frame me is over a year late, when I stopped using the Kandarim name (but the forum-name remains for that sweet post-count, of course). And yes, Darwoth has pulled this "trick" before. Remember that people can still change their character name after creation, as often as they want to!

It's not foolish to let everyone know how you got scammed.
It was, however, mentioned on several occasions, that the real tradewinds hs is written with capital "T" like "Tradewinds"

I am going to be a "captain hindsight", but you should have checked everything carefully.

Shut up Dallene! It's not his fault. This is where the socializing part of this game pays off. You get to see the crazy stuff that goes on and who is scamming who. A part of the game is getting scammed in some way, which leads to some sort of loss. The strong survive and the weak should get stronger or smarter.

It is 100% his own fault that he let himself be scammed.
