I'd like to start this thread up as a weekly thing of goods that just aren't for sale and/or oversold in the public market.



Yes- I went hog **** wild I'd never go there again... but instead of leaving it all up to fate- and after a week of abstinence.. passive direction might work wonders!

This is a clear opportunity for traders to take note... and for buyers to say what they are looking for. And share what there's too much of!



So..

I'm looking for Wrought Iron. In the public market I found 5-6 selling pig iron and 1 selling Blister-steel for ~900s... but nobody selling anything between. As I'm trying to make Crucible... this is a problem! Guaranteed silver someone is missing out on.

Oversold ~

Brains... at least 8 of you are selling this item...all for <10s each and 1 at 20s/each Find a new commodity!

One reason you won't see Wrought Iron listed in posts or in stalls is due to the large number of people who buy it. There is really no need to add it to your post when you can find numerous people buying it in their own posts or in Providence within a matter of minutes.

Once most people find a buyer they will sell to that buyer as much as possible due to the atmosphere of trust already gained from the initial trade.

there is a difference between trusted buyer and a newbie who want to buy one or a few bars to make his claudron / oven / whatever
i can buy a single item from stall even for a higher price, not a big loss.
on the other hand, this is a good chance for traders to sell their stuff at higher cost without any risk. just keep some amount on sale in stalls, nothing more.

Top 10 things newbie's (and vets) can't find and want!!!

1. Wrought Iron (beaten to death already)
2. Coarse Salt ( needed for inspiration, soap, etc.)
3. Antlers ~ one of the many disease cures... newbs can't get until they reach high humors
4. (shoudl be 3a~) Hunting Trophy... big jump going toward Big Game and Monster hunting.
5. Fishing trophy (see #4)
6. Unburnt pots ~ lots start a claim where they find a Mine Entrance...never wondering where closest clay desposit is. Want the real deal you will need a garden... and this is so much easier than grinding you own... hours from 'home'!
7, 8, 9, 10... any starter inspiration stuff that can't be made/acquired without higher level skill and planning.

Lockets
Game board
Knots
Geodes, etc...
