I can't find the word "auction" or a reference to "standard" rules anywhere else in this thread.
Then google gentleman rules:
A gentlemen's agreement or gentleman's agreement is an informal and legally non-binding agreement between two or more parties. It is typically oral, though it may be written, or simply understood as part of an unspoken agreement by convention or through mutually beneficial etiquette. The essence of a gentlemen's agreement is that it relies upon the honor of the parties for its fulfillment, rather than being in any way enforceable. It is, therefore, distinct from a legal agreement or contract, which can be enforced if necessary.
oh yeah and
auc·tion
ˈôkSH(ə)n/
noun
a public sale in which goods or property are sold to the highest bidder.
You don't understand the situation so badly that you think I need you to define those terms?
The OP asked for bids to provide product, he is not running an auction. If you have ever had anything other than an hourly wage job, then you might understand the concept of requesting estimates or bids for services or products.
I recommend to the OP that he refuse spalari's bid since he doesn't really understand what he is doing here.
