People who feel like supporting the game they love. It's like public television. You pay Monies, receive nice Things, and entertainment. What you do with your nice things is your business.
The nice Things arguably aren't worth it, they are a nice bonus.
Unless you have that kind of disposable income, in which case supporting what you like is a nice bonus for the bag or in this case Hat/Cape/Equipment.
