Salem

So Im sure there is probably a thread on this already, but hell lets have another just in case.

1) lets share some fun salem moments! Like your first murder? Did you know who you killed? Why did you kill them? Was it satisfying? Full of LoLz?

2)Also, what was your first death like? Where you murdered? Fall victim to the blood moon? Decided to get a little nuts and lick the **** out of some moldy boards? Or meet an end in the stockades?

Ill go first, first time i took a life was when i was very young in the game. One of my neighbors was leaving scents everywhere, one of those scents was him jacking my wallet full of 750 hard earned silver, and a cloak full of gluttony artifacts. I was so full of rage that somebody would steal from me, i rushed revenge. Problem was by the time i got the skill he had built a stone wall, but no torches. Well luckily some kind people agreed to get my stuff back. Which they did. I later went back to the thief leanto which still had his wall down. I then proceeded to summon him and end his life. I was over come with joy and this feeling of "it was settled." So that was my first kill

Right after i ended the thief's life, I passed out on his plot and died of madness.........

My first town was Rlyeh, mayored by Alabaster, and also included Elizabeth and Seeky. We eventually moved to a town we found down in the darkness at about the invisible wall. As we were moving, the last member of town left was Elizabeth, one day she let the bell slip while afk'ing in the middle of town (never afk kids, never) and 3 guys showed up and raided our town and killed her. So, I grabbed an alt with stupidly low biles and began rangering the murder scent. This led me to Dulacc where I camped for nearly a week debating how to go about extracting revenge. Amazingly after the 5-6'th day the Dulacc bell slipped and I managed to get inside. At first I just looked around and began raiding all the treasures inside (this guy was a full on raider and had a bunch of goodies all over the place). After exploring the grounds and various buildings I went into a farmers hovel and much to my surprise, there in front of the fireplace on a chair was the owner of the town afk on a chair (again, never never afk) So... me and my 15 to all character began the process of beating the crap out of him, but he had waaay more humors than me so the whole process was a nightmarish 45 mins worth of beating 5 points off him, breaking combat, eating pumpkins from a nearby field to regen, reengaging him for another 5 points. and so on. after he finally went down, I dragged his body into his church and killed him. To this day I was never able to get any info on who he was, nobody was aware of the town any more than the fact that it existed, but he apparently quit entirely after that. as a fun footnote to this story, I also raided a town nearby there and found alot of stuff raided from our town, so I did manage to get revenge on all 3 of them.

I'm sorry, but I'm new and what do you mean by "town bell slipped"? Does this declaim the whole area or something?

ran out of silver, back in the day when a claim, personal or town, ran out of money, you could commit any crimes there without leaving any scents. The good ol' days

it was, and it was a great learning experience as to how humors factor in pvp since I was 100% noob at that point still. Meanwhile I also kept thinking "if this guy comes back and sees whats happening, hes going to 1 shot me"

Way waaay back when I first played this game as a beta tester, I remember getting KO by snakes a lot. Never encountered a bear back then, but plenty of beaver. I remember very vividly being forced to move to a "friends" settlement only to have that settlement raided a few days later, completely wasting my time. Not my character, I was offline when the "friend" in question was stabbed to death along with two other people who apparently ran screaming from some naked guy brandishing a sword. They quit, I stuck around for a little bit until I realized just how convoluted and how much of a hassle salem was to play.

New salem though, my first leanto bashing and the first time I was robbed stick out in my mind. That first bashing took place outside my place and it was simply to remove the leanto of some nub that had built his garbage between the farm and the mine we used to the south. Noticed that a person belongings dropped when their leanto was bashed. For a month my friend and I made a decent profit bashing old leantos until... The first time we were robbed, which also happened to be my friends first death. I was fine because I hadn't actually commited any crimes, so whoever robbed me took my wallet, a couple curios, and nothing else. I recall being ***** furious at the loss of my wallet. Not the silver, just the snake skin wallet. It took five days to stock the one who had robbed me, as other people kept stocking him.

never been killed on main, just thief alts that die of madness because i left them online

1) I with my boyfriend was started playing in Salem, but over time it's changed. After our a toxic relationship in real he broke up with me and he was trying to harm me in game. So I killed him and it was satisfying as *****.

2) My first death was in my own house long long time ago. I was a newb and don't had locks in gates. So when I been cooking delicious food in my house, someone (I'm still don't know who) came in and killed me. My main was around 40 bilies. I was crying and I had a trauma after this terrible lose. I even leave Salem for 3 weeks, but after this break I went back to the game and I'm still playing.

now THAT is an awesome first kill story.
