robbed, vengeance, trap?

Maybe something I don't know, maybe I don't know the rules.
A few hours ago I was robbed. Thug offline. I found and destroyed his leanto (new player probably?). I took what was my. I came home and there waiting for me 2 guys who without a moment's think kill me and took off with my scalp. This is a lynching?
Two months quiet game, I didn't hurt anybody and had quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

You should have claimed his leanto because then you wouldnt have left any scent. Even though he stole your stuff its still technically a crime to destroy his leanto without claiming it first. Although they would still have killed you because as you said they were already waiting for you

i don't even have waste on my main, commit crimes only with alts please.
