Robbed and beaten on my own homestead

Postby rowean » Mon Jul 06, 2015 12:54 am

Those of you who like to bring justice a man just robbed and beat me unconciouse on my own homestead multiple times I'll bring you evidence if your wanting to go and lay down some beatings. He even took my hard earned teddybear. Someone will have to tell me how you pick up scents though so I can pass them on or do you just need evidence to track? Pm me if your intrested.

You will need to track them and make a map for whoever does this for you along wit the evidence. You should also offer a reward.

According to a friend of mine he suggested I post something here becouse there is supposedly lots of folks who want a excuse to go and catch a criminal and it goes without saying that what ever he has is thiers and he did take at least two panes of glass, a teddybear and 60%purity butcher knife and a rare brick and some willow aphids along with 2 and a half stacks of gold flakes and thats just from me today who knows what else he might have.

You can do the easy way, just collect the evidence on the ground (turn on tracking, track the exclamation marks at the incident site) then bring to the judge, paying 500s to get them stocked for 24 hours, you can inflict disease on them, whip, throw tomatoes etc which lower their bile and build up full&fed debuff.
You thought I quit.

I guess you are playing on providence. I doubt anyone will want to waste 4 hours for loot that is worth less than their murder alt will be.

Try tracking the criminal yourself. Find out where they live then post it here. Then build an offensive town near them. After that has aged to one week completely surround their town with your own town. Then just waste claim them till they quit the game. Should only cost you a few thousand dollars in silver

yep on providence and alas no silver it was all spent on the butcher knife and teddybear going to take me awhile to earn enough silver to stock them and as for the map idea tempting if I had the ready cash as it stands not likely might be able to track thier base and make a survey for future retribution when I have more and hope they have not moved in the meantime back to makeing walls. Yes I know I should have had them but I had only just maxed my homestead size and walls are a pain to take down on providence so had not built them yet.

I was kinda kidding TBH :P My biggest suggestion to you is to totally ignore the fact that you have been raided, fix your defenses back up. Build some torch posts and stuff. Try and build yourself a town claim when you can (could be a while though, it is a pretty steep investment but INCREDIBLY worth it) Build a plank wall.
Until you have a town claim or you are a part of a town you are pretty vulnerable. Make some friends! Try and join one of the big towns. Most of all don't let the raiders dishearten you. You will one day be able to get your own retribution if you work hard and so wish

Mercilessly hunt The Cricket menace, keep an eye out for savage charms. Crickets are absurdly common in grass lands, and things that are dangerous to you, are not. You can also get easy to make food pretty safely. And you can kill crickets, I'm sure. If you have a homestead and actually earned money, you can. Practically all you need is a pulse.

I am aware of how tedious it will be. Well, the opportunity cost of sitting out the sentence/suffering abuse in the stocks is higher for them, and paying bail will also sting too.
See if you can't do it and at a time where they will suffer abuse, whether at your hands, or others.
