Simply put, you right click the ballot on either of the new officials located near the accused. Right click on the "YES" official to vote her guilty, right click on the "NO" official to vote her innocent.

By order of His Majesty, on this day, October the 12th, two members of the local regiment for the Providence colony apprehended one Lizbeth Maudney, on the charge of invoking evil spirits and communing with familiars. Three witnesses claimed Lizbeth, on multiple occasions, communed with the Devil in various forms of nefarious activity. The Providence Magistrate, responsible for trying cases of Witchcraft in the colony, has been handling affairs to the north and will not be back for some time. For this reason, it has become necessary for the colonists to decide for themselves, based on the witness' testimony, whether or not she is guilty.

Colonists will be allowed to interact with Lizbeth throughout the proceedings. Voting will begin on (or around) October 17. Testimonies from witnesses and the accused will be provided for the edification of the population in assisting them with their task. Due to the nature of the crime, should a tie occur, the defendant will be found guilty in order to protect the colony from the possibility of destruction at the hands of Evil.

All colonists are considered duty-bound to participate in the trial and will be expected to regularly check in with the guards and the accused to see if new testimonies have become available. The exact date of the final count will occur during the final week of October and will be announced as we approach it. You are all wished the best of luck and divine favor in this trying, terrifying, and troubling time and His Majesty thanks you for ensuring justice is handled in Providence.

October 13th - Testimony Against the Accused by Goodwife N.

[spoiler]The first witness to testify is Goodwife N. Confirming that she had only met the accused once before in passing and holds no ill will against her, confirming that she herself has had no relatives accused or persecuted for being a witch, and confirming that she herself is and always has been an upstanding Christian woman, Goody N. holds that the accused was seen from across her yard, muttering to her broomstick while sweeping the walkway. When questioned whether or not the accused may have infact been talking to herself, Goody N. went on to describe that the broom moved in such a way and was so smooth acting against the cobbles that it could not have been made of mundane substances and had to have been created of foul sorcery. Local agents in Providence have searched the homestead of the accused and have as of yet been unable to find the broom. Information on its whereabouts should be reported immediately to the Magistrate's office.

Goody N. continued her report in stating that, during the last full moon, the accused what indeed seen dancing naked in the garden behind the accused's home and that another figure joined her from the hedges. When asked about the manner of dancing which occurred, the witness stated that it was "sinful and filled with carnal knowledge." When pressed further, Goody N. admits that the act of copulation could have been occurring and that it may not have actually been a dance, but that "the flailing and moaning was otherwordly and grotesque." She went on to assert that it was surely the Devil with whom the accused was consorting.

The second witness to testify is M. A. Confirming he had never before met the accused, holds no ill will, etcetera, reported seeing the accused in his dreams. As has been well-documented, witches possess the abilities to visit God-fearing men and women in their sleep. M.A. states that the accused visited his dreams multiple times, visiting him like a succubus in the night and implanting in his head lecherous and forbidden thoughts, he being a devout man and married. The report goes on to detail the thoughts thus implanted into the otherwise pious mind of M.A., the details of which are too lewd for record. Suffice that they involve depravity in a series of lustful connections between appendages and orifices of both M.A. and the accused. What is more alarming, in his dreams M.A. bore witness to all manner of terrible creatures springing from the ground beneath the accused, some of which known only to legend. M.A., so terrified by these visions, came directly to the magistrate's office and, despite that they have ceased, cannot sleep properly for fear of witnessing further atrocities.

The third witness to testify is W.T.P. Although she holds no ill will, W.T.P. had known the accused for years, having regularly participated in the accused's sewing circle. Not long ago, W.T.P. had attended one such meeting, during which the accused produced a noteworthy quilt, interesting in design for its concentric circles. This quilt was so nice, the other women suggested selling it in the market but, supposedly, the accused was unwilling to part with it. Later that night the others left for home, but W.T.P. headed back as she had forgotten her favorite pair of scissors. While glancing into the window, W.T.P. claims to have seen the quilt spread out in the room with candles holding it down and lighting the corners and edges.. Though the windows were shut, she could hear a strange rhythmic humming coming from within the home and it was nothing she had heard before, there or anywhere. It had an almost spell-binding effect, as W.T.P puts it, recognizing now that it may have been spellbinding.

The worst was yet to come as W.T.B bore witness to what followed next. Suddenly she could see the accused, walking in from another room, naked from head to toe. The accused squatted down onto the quilt and began to hum louder and louder the enchanting song. The longer it went, the sweeter it became, until finally something fell out from within her, covered in purple, vein-covered skin. It wasn't until the creature's black eyes drifted lazily toward where W.T.P. stood that she ran home and locked her doors. Local agents retrieved a bloody quilt from within the accused's linen closet, and although it does not confirm W.T.P.'s story, the accused refuses to explain the quilt's condition .
