Raiding and killing is part of the game. It is one of the primary aspects of the survival portion of the game. I plan to do my fair share in the future as well.

However I don't think it is appropriate to pass yourself off as the vigilante justice that defends the innocent and spout that all criminals are evil and then engage in the hypocrisy and be a criminal yourself.

KKK talking about justice then being unjustified is kinda foolish. If you just own up to it and say "Hey if we get a scent were coming for you or if we see a base we want to attack we are coming for you" seems to be a better response. Don't create a thread about how awesome you are bringing criminals to justice then follow up with becoming one yourself. Kinda points KKK out as a liar. Konniving Killer Kreatons should be your new nick name.

Sure lots of the threads by the Kristians have had criminals being brought to justice. Lots of them were also easily raided bases with scents of posioncraft, forgery, or witchcraft inside the houses, that would have been raided regardless of scents or not.

I haven't seen any Kristian ever say that they were only rangers , and I don't know why anyone would think this just because we also track scents.

Forgive me for not having a tenure on the forums I am still fairly new around here. ( I am trying to be more of an active community member. ) The reason I would draw this conclusion in the short time that I have been around is the thread below.

viewtopic.php?f=20&t=13657

So I kinda looked at that as a little hypocritical. Besides I said anyone with scents which implies guilty not that the scent really hurt anyone. If I killed an alt and someone picked up the scent and put me in the stocks I would have no room to complain even though no parties were harmed. So KKK are not rangers so I know not to call them for aid. It is easier to trust someone who says and demonstrates that they they will/want to help others dealing with attackers than someone who says they will but in a later post goes by the creed of everyone is fair game. Do you seem my logic here? Sounds kinda mafia-ish which is kinda cool on its own. 8-) But still hypocritical.

I can see your point in the last sentence of that post, it could be worded differently.

I can understand your sentiment, however whenever dealing with outsourcing your defense or revenge needs you're assuming the same risk. If you feel more comfortable contacting a dedicated ranger, rather than a group that raids and will ranger, that's reasonable.

I am a big fan of ender both here and his work for HnH. However if contributing great game enhancements earns immunity from raids, it should be brought up to devs to make a providenceish safe zone for him. As I understand it however, JC seems to love the fierce survival, competition, and overall race against the clock to defend yourself that is salem.
