If you had invested the time to get T2 antivenom or had you not danced around then you more than likely would of KO darwoth, I say KO and not killed because i don't think you have the skill on that char. Crying about TBC isn't going anywhere. YOU made the choice to leave a scent.

Yes i did make the choice to leave the scent. The mechanic behind the Doughtnut TBF and TBC clearly is going somewhere, didnt JC just say the other day if things go the way he wants he will remove TBC ?

Clearly a massivly flawed mechanic, being used in ways it was not intended, but as normal with all bugs features in salem since the start, they stay in untill removed / fixed.

However, that being said, this is no longer in alpha or beta, Its offically launched, but is clearly treated as it is in beta still.

From what I heard it's something he is thinking about. Unfortunately if/when it's removed people are going to cry about "vaults"

Well "vaults" as you say it already exist, and they are unraidable due to TBC, Kind of the opposite of what you are suggesting.

Also, if they introduced fatigue like i suggested, it would stop real criminals staying online 24/7 meaning they can actually be punished in the stocks, IF JC decided to balance it corrrectly.

He has been given some good direction by the community in how to remove TBC, balance the stocks, and make it so crinimals are not imminue to punishment, Lets see if he follows through.

Lets not derail this further on this subject, it has been mentioned in many other places and we really are beating a dead horse here.

Thanks for clearing that up. Just wanted to know how much dumb was being tossed around. Simple mechanics... Still gets ko'd to it. Well played Darwoth ....... Well played!

jesus christ you really are ***** stupid. 30 pages of YOU WHINING ABOUT EVERY SINGLE TACTIC YOU GOT **** ON WITH FOR WEEKS has NOTHING TO DO WITH **** about a TBC and is far from "good direction from the community"

and for the record leetard dirtnapped to a 30 silver dart as i found no reason to waste a better one on a retard like him, he simply did not have any antivenom at all which he is now trying to deny.

I'm not wrong about the anti-venom. I'm not saying it's impossible to be prepared but it's a matter of having more anti-venom than they have darts. Like I said, Mid-level players who haven't been able to farm "Darkness Snakes" or Quetzalcoatls are incredibly vulnerable.

I agree with Tmeow in that it is a way for lower level players to take on the big guys but I think that it needs to be a little different in how it works. Maybe darts could drain to a non KO amount. Maybe they could drain Blood to half or give a fear drain or some other form of debuff in combat. A drain to KO is too powerful, especially if it does it in a minute or two to any character.

TotalyMeow wrote:But just to alleviate anyone's fears who might read and believe your drivel, there are only two types of antivenom, so even if you drink 'all types' of it, that's only 2. Also, remember that LeeLee admitted earlier that he spent all his time running around and hiding behind a tree because he didn't take the darts seriously. He did this for a few minutes while Darwoth missed again and again. Darts are very inaccurate. And finally, if he'd attacked instead of dodging about, he quite possibly would have won the fight, being so much higher in humors. Darts and Firearms in general are a way for the little guy to gain an advantage over the big guys; I think this mechanic has proven to be very effective there.

1. There have been hints at further venoms but even having to carry 2 around at all times is sort of too much.
2. I agree that L33LEE probably could have won the battle if it had gone down different. I said that.
3. I agree that Darts and Firearms are sort of a good way for little guys to hurt the titans but unfortunately they're also a good way for guys with protected scents or have figured out the mechanics on hiding scents to attack towns. Especially during Blood Moons.

It needs to be different in some way. I think that it probably just needs to take longer to drain people and it needs to be easier to get the anti-venoms, maybe they could be for sale from the stalls.

Maybe a dart user needs to have town permissions to use them on any Vclaim or Pclaim. I know that it wouldn't have affected this situation but it would have fixed the problems with the Helm's Deep Blood Moon attack with darts.

Maybe other debuffs could happen, like dizzyness or occasional vomitting. Some sort of combat hindrance.

Also scents should not be destructable just by destroying the hovel they're in.

Dallane wrote:Darts also have a large skill to get to. Antivenom is so easy to get there is no reason why you shouldn't have it on you.

Quetzalcoatls are not easy to kill for mid level players.
