I don't even think about doing this massively boring job.

If some people 'need to' make their town so big, let them, they don't have fun in it, they do it because they think they 'have to' (even though they cried & said they quit the game months ago), they only lost valuable time to raise their e-peen, just to brag their no-life into existence.

It is broken in a way, but not that broken so people couldn't do something about. It's just a mechanic which only the biggest neck-beards will make use of and feel proud about. (while (s)he bathes in silver)

I really must agree that this is an unnecessary feature in the game. Massive empty walled towns was a way of life in the Salem era let us not forget.... and the effects seem to be very counter productive. Look at the thread and who says it's good, but alsoo the lack of quality responces. And the number of people who use the mechanic is another example. It happens at every level of business, sometimes you can't see the forest through the trees.

I can see here at least 2 types of people:
1. Lazy people (I'm included)
2. Soft and spineless *******, who really think, that top towns are immune and noone can't do anything with that.

I care more about the fact having a chance at getting a stall is so difficult. The bidding system only benefits the ones who are already rich. Stall taxes are too far away.

If gaining additional thousands of silver for your town or blocking this gain for your enemy is pointless for you - then I have nothing to say.

If silver is still important - then, maybe, majority of "you" simply know too few about this mechanics.
Look, our citizens were offline for about 7-9 hours. Someone used that moment to take a crap on our town claim, and now we thrown back in our presentation authority for 1.5 - 2 weeks, because it regenerate VEEERY slowly. Our weekly income fall from ~10.000 of silver to ~1.500. At the same time, other cities just got our income.
And, most important. There can be dropped and will be dropped more poop claims, so we (and anyone) can sink in top-10 list even more.
As far as I know, sir Darwat's income is above 30k per week. You want some - you're forced to do both, to raise your town's authority and to take a dump on Occlo and Dawrothville (or how does they spell).

If someone has forgot tax distribution formula, here you go.

This mechanic was intended to bring tears.

It seems to be working perfectly.

Also, Maybe more people would be willing to take Dr.D off the top spot, if they knew his locations.

Sharing is caring, post a world map of Dr.D's bases.

I think these incomes should be at least tripled for the top 3 cities.

hate to spoil the chin scratching party and what not but my town locations are not exactly a secret

in any case i have had russians, k clowns, and a few random dumbasses from JT drop turd claims on me pretty regularly for the last few weeks, i average 2 per day at the moment at both of my towns with a two pack of waste claims thrown in for seasoning.

the more the merrier though, would be quite funny to see group a argue with group b over who gets to stand around with a half dozen friends for 8 hours to accomplish nothing like the tardsquad did last night.
