Isn't that what Salem is all about?

You then proceeded to grief him with alts and when he had to defend himself you took it personally spent silver on a horse and broke into his newbie base and murdered him? Do you think the game has too many players or what? How could he ever be a theat to you and your own? He's been here from 2012 and his post history seems to be mostly asking questions in help. Can you share what motivates someone who does this kind of thing? :|

Do you also ask why people shoot other people in First-Person-Shooters? What they did, is a central part of this game, it is neither wrong or right to do it, it is merely just one of many main gameplay actions allowed and intended by this game.

Thats the reason.

Shouldn't pvp be a means to an end rather than just an end? Say in a team based shooter with friendly fire you could go around shooting your own teammates in the back instead of the adversaries and it would also be a valid playstyle. Of course you'd find yourself without a team fast so there would be consequences.

If the actions in this thread are indeed amoral which I am not prepared to concede they are, what is the point? Was the loot if any the reason? Was it simply low hanging fruit? Was it boredom? Personal satisfaction? If players create the content in sandboxes and that's usually the selling point wouldn't it make sense to try and encourage a larger playerbase and in that view maybe give the guy a pass let him off with a warning?

Maybe the new pvp system would give the tools for rangers to function if not infuse anyone with the actual character traits (flaws?) to undertake ranging on behalf of others. Months of work would still be lost in seconds but there would be a bit more to the just world illusion which is necessary for so many to function and while in real life the forms of quitting are a bit extreme in games it's simply never logging back again which hurts both the games income and the loss of player made content. I'm not saying Zengler will quit over it but some will in same situation and all for what? Trying to trade? Trading is one of the things that make people interact potentially forming long term social relations which are the long term reason for people playing mmos past the point exploration is done grind stops being even remotely fun so again actions like these have the potential to hurt the game in the long term.

And even if you don't care at all about the game maybe some don't if it's not profitable it might get shut down and then who do you get to abuse?

All in all it seems to me very shortsighted but maybe it's just me.

The point of playing games is for fun purposes, I've had that and the fact that you wrote a complete B/S story made me even laugh more

Your fun over someone elses fun clearly and somehow it's also amoral got it. As for story I wasn't aware my questions and hypothesis amounted to a story but I apreciate the thought if not the intent.

Lies or bug, unless you were targeting already damaged wall section.

Each whack takes 0.5 phlegm and 1.2 seconds. In 5 seconds you manage to do 4 whacks each. Stone wall has above 800 hp. To destroy it in 4 whacks each with duo, it means at least 100 hp dealt per whack, which means 1000 current phlegm vs 0 soak with those characters, which you don't have.

(1000 phlegm vs 0 soak does 10*sqrt(1000/10) = 100 dmg)

Most certainly no lies, the wall went down within 5 seconds.

I haven't died on providence yet, if I was asking for a revive it was for a friend of mine. The reason for that was beacuse JC tends to make unlogical decisions, which may upset people so now and then.
