it took approximately 16 hours spread out over increments and several days along a pre mapped route, during a coldsnap for the speed boost. feel free to go kill a bunch of darkenbears and drag them to town claeyt.

You have been told how the devs feel on the subject. Further posting on it will be derailing at this point.

You clearly have never traveled to darkness if you think its going to take 4-5 hours

darkenbears hit for 500damage, claeyt has probably 50 blood so much about his knowledge on darkenbears and darkness..

Clearly you guys don't remember the forum post when I took on 2 darkenbears at once.

As for the timeline. I guess if you were dragging it maybe it'd take you longer. Still I'd say that with a canoe I've made Darkenbear territory within 6 hours from the coast.

I don't remember saying you could MELEE a darknenbear with 300 much less 1000. I've always said it takes a rifle or a group. Point it out wherever I said that and I'll change it but I don't think I ever said that.

It's still a broken mechanic to spam lifting a carcass out for madness levels.

Think about it.
The innocent pilgrims of Providence, living under the safety of light, never encountered a Darkenbear during their lives.
One day, an insane pilgrim (Darwoth) pulls some of the carcasses all the way from deep darkness to Providence just because he likes to see fear in pilgrims' eyes.
Most of the innocents are so scared at the sight of the carcasses they can't move and go insane. At this point they either become like Darwoth or die from madness.

We're talking about using it to increase madness to killing levels within 5 MIN !!! while he's being attacked at his TbC or if he finds some poor noob standing around Boston. Or if he finds someone in the stocks online.

Maybe people are just too used to raiding claims that are unmanned/owner offline.

The owner is risking madness also, is not like he is avoiding it...THAT would be an exploit.

Why would anyone be standing around in Providence? It has been said many time that Providence isn't a safe haven. There are many bad things that can happen to someone who is stupid enough to stand in Providence.
