Local Providence officials, appointed by His Majesty, have considered allowing Lizbeth to defend herself of these accusations. However, after cross-examining her themselves and listening to the abhorrent lies she began to utter, the half-truths, and the finger pointing at many top-ranking citizens in the King's own court, it was decided that the public would be better suited to mill through the testimonies only of the accusers. Simply put, based on the accusations and her own responses, she is not a reliable witness and officials have been unable to find testimonies in her defense. If you would like to provide such a testimony, feel free to leave it here or PM me and I can post it on your behalf lest your neighbors discover your sympathies to the accused.

Oh I'd like to point out that as of the 11th century the catholic church has said there are no such thing as witches. Claiming that there are such things as witches is heresy, and such people should be burned for heresy.

(Yes RL salem did in fact break a billion laws/rules when they pulled the crap they did)

Not that Catholicism holds bearing on historic Salem's doings, as mentioned, but also please reference Summis desiderantes affectibus per Pope Innocent VIII and recognize that even the oldest institutions are hardly ever consistent.

There are three major points here:

1. Witches are always guilty, we all know that.
2. She's black, and we're in 'MURICA which means black people are always guilty.
3. She's trying to avoid the whole situation by talking about random stuff. Example; "My goodness, I think I left pies in the oven" This is obviously in desperation to escape.

I have finally figured out what is going on! While this trial is going on one George Washington, one time general of the french and indian war, is talking about starting a new town and revolution! Surely this is simply a ruse to distract his Majesty while he musters his forces. We MUST stop this insurrection before it gains momentum!
