Meh, You could just KO them and take their hand with 'eye for an eye'. It's not a cycle if you don't kill them.
I like the new crime system. It gives you multiple options to do something to them. You could just track them and post their location. You could track them and build a bunch of PooP claims. You could track them and put up a bricked in/Pclaimed/with brazier/s Waste Claim or TbC just to scare them. You could try a walled in/Pclaimed/brazier/s TbC and try and sneak in a summon of them on their off hours. There's lots of stuff you could do.
Mostly you should have built up your place before trying to take them on.Also it's not that hard and probably worth it if they sneak one in. I suppose it all depends on if King Nothing wants to give it a try and scare them a bit with a TbC.
They don't really hassle anyone that isn't bothering them and they're willing to help new players sometimes. I think it's much better now than with Darwoth or the Tribe.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.
