I think there is something I do not understand. How can you unequip the canoe after having picked up. It seems to be locked in my back and nothing happens when I try to click on it.

OK sorry, I figured out that i needed to ctrl-left-click it to drop it.

It's awesome that canoes are slightly faster than running speed. I can't catch up with it by clicking 'follow', like you can with a running character.
Did Claeyt shut up yet?

For the guy that has Ender's Client crash try this. If you have a 64 bit OS use the 64 Bit version of Java to run Ender's client. I have crashes when I run Ender's client with the 32 bit version of Java 6. But I have never had a crash while running Ender's client with the 64 bit version of Java 7. Even when running 3 clients at the same time on the same machine.
