I get the feeling safe trade goes against everything Salem stands for. I doubt this'll be the type of game where you can be a powertrader and frankly I prefer it that way.

I have a well spot smack dab in the middle of my farm, a bit under a house but there's still just enough room to place a construction sign for a well :D

Anyway, I hope wells are there for water purity implementation, and that they won't have inherent purity but will be an object you build purity in by throwing in various objects (maybe little Timmy if you''re a witch?).

Lucky you :D I still don't see the benefit of a well over porting to Boston, but it does feel like a good addition to the game. Let's just hope they don't nerf porting water out of Boston :D

I still can't convince myself to burn the leather to make a Woo Woo Wand. Ah well.

Why would an inherently unsafe game have safe trade? That's a complex question. Ultima Online had no safe trade when it's beta launched, and trading occurred much as it does today in Salem. The addition of a safe trading system to UO certainly did not curb scamming, theft or any of the other things it was intended to. What it did do was give players a tool they could use to defend against such things.

I don't know what the right answer to that one is, but I trust the devs to deliver a stellar game in either case.

Can we get some information BEFORE changing alechmy ?
It would be nice if we can use all stuff if there will be changes that will nuke purity or change it dramaticaly.

Any ETA on alchemy? Not precise date, of course, just wondering if we're looking at weeks or months. I imagine it will involve fiddling with virtually everything in the game, so I imagine it could take a long while.

What I didnt understand about farming is, why does these fields require no water? Maybe it can increase plenty while increasing upkeep? We all know too much water ruins the quality of soil irl, if this game is realistic it can fit well with this new "well" business. "Only the water from well can be poured on fields!!!" hurray :P

Better purity. The foundation of any game that touts itself as a "crafting MMO". I can barely contain myself!
