I'd like to know only one thing, why was the wall behind me damaged?

Also what is the effective "range" of the splash? Meaning how far does a wall have to be from a different wall for it not to be damaged?

I don't give a you know what about wallpaper.

Edit: I did a second test, at 2 tiles distance the wall was still damaged, but at 6 it wasn't so now the effective range is somewhere between those number, the dammage to wall tiles seems to be centered around 85%.

I hope this gets removed, or atleast limited to some form of siege equipment.

Well, on the small bright side, now we can put the best walls first an not have the first two just for the towers to activate. My assumption would be that wall spaming should now be replaced by supper brazier spaming and we can still have multiple walls but only with a lot of space in between, meaning we now have to completely rebuild our bases.

Once again supper annoying.

Nice update... but I want to put 2 swords on same wall segment to get crossed swords.

EDIT: As for walls splash damage... now we need to spam plank walls with 6 tiles space (dry boards prices will go up I hope) ¦]

"Crimes of vandalism now immediately awakens defense towers."
Yay! Finallly.

"Defense towers can now (sometimes) deal critical hits.
Defense towers can now (sometimes) deal permanent damage to humours."

Very unexpected, but looks good

"Walls cause splash damage on other walls close to them when they are destroyed."
I am sorry I have to say this, but this is complete and utter BS, messing up and eradicating everybody's base designs. This hits people harder than any griefer can. Please remove.
Did Claeyt shut up yet?

Do you people seriously expect the devs to lock in bad features like wall spam just to preserve your beta test bases?

Yes. They always have and it's not isolated to this type of game either. It's better to leave all bad and broken systems in than to fix them and put future players at a disadvantage or early players with obsolete junk, right?

Just space the walls out with tons of braziers inbetween. No big problem.

True.

It's just pointless, it would be much better if wall splash damage was attributed to some special siege feature rather than an arbitrary effect.

The butthurt is only partly about the loss of the present base design, a significant part of the problem is that a singlle wall doesen/t offer enough protection. We'll still have to spam numerous walls, just now we will have leave space in between so in the grand scheme of things nothing has changed.
