Thats not true, just because a person who has a leanto on the claim has received his present, and me, who owns the claim and the house on it, have got nuffin'.

For those asking and wanting clarification: This was my experience. Had a claim of my own, a house with stove (I built) on my claim. Got stocking from main city post office NPC (did not open it), put it on stove by "using" it on the stove. Then was able to right click on stocking to open it.
