cant wait to see how this gets decorated!

This is not really true, but the forum is being designed.

which part isnt true? :P

That we are responsible for designing the new forums. Just a bad choice of words ;)
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

I think because paradox forums too heavily moderated, see http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/vie ... 16#p357116

also maybe because loftar couldn't post on them...

As the game is an MMO it's a bit more dependent on and integrated with its web-platform than are most other games that Paradox publishes.

Also we apparently crashed their forum a time or two when we had a big influx of users. ^^

This. So much this.

Salem did not work with the Paradox ruleset, at all.

That was a very common complaint that dual-players had on the Haven forums. Obscene, vulgar, or radical issues/ideas/complaints about the game met moderation rather than being recognized on the Paradox forums. While it's completely understandable why these things were not permitted; it seemed as if it would substantially hurt the game.

Salem is very much its own beast and requires a bit more special attention when it comes to forum rules.
