Sorry. Maybe I spoke too soon. There will be seasonal EVENTS. I'm not opposed to changing the aslphalt to snow in December and invisibly harassing you guys with spawned yetis while taking a break from what I would consider the more pressing development. I just meant a re-occuring patched in fully fledged system of seasons would be 2015 at best.

Most, if not all of the people I used to play with are long gone (as am I). Boredom and simply a lack of population are the main reasons. Boston/Providence were/are ghost towns, not too many towns exist, a fear of creating new towns and recruiting because of security, the wholesale slaughtering of new players (be it 1 week or 2 months), and the fact that mixing of permadeath and long term character creation are a bad combination. I understand the game is not for everyone, but a thriving population (lets just say a little bigger population) could create some fun scenarios. 40-50 people plus alts..... no thanks for me. This being said, and from reading your priority list, you (John Carver) seem to be catering to the Tribe with gluttony, purity and easier raiding potential topping the list. This will keep propelling them forward to higher levels. A few others as well of course but nothing on the level to oppose them. Now, I agree with taking care of your miniscule player base, but my question is simply this:

What will bring others like me back and what are your plans to bring in and RETAIN new players.

Oh, just read about it. Quite a good news, i would say. Still, only time will tell how this game will change, and thus, i'll wait.

You seem to want more players.. easier learning curve.. and more social interactions. So do we.

I was glad sea-tribe had decided to stick to 1 game, and haven was the logical choice, but I am still sad salem never got to be completed. So this is all very exciting.

Both games deserve their own dedicated developers. I hope you new guys don't suck tho! I like nice things.

What is the "honour system" all about? It is mentioned on the sign near the berry garden that you planted in Providence

Is that some new upcoming game mechanics?

the honor system is:

if we fight and i win, i promise not to kill you afterwards, if you win you promise not to kill me afterwards.

whoever wins has NO way to enforce that promise, since he already lost and is knocked out.
so, on the honor of the winner he keeps his promise, or not...
