On a serious note. We just finished our final work on evaluating the old Store code which was our last meeting with PDX. The good news is that what we intend to re-implement will be MUCH more powerful than what was there previously. We are looking into support that will allow PROMO codes, Sales, Packages, and most importantly SHOPPING CART. The largest throttle and reason why we felt the Store must be redesigned is because you MUST buy every item one by one. We plan on putting in more items at reasonable costs to where players will hopefully want to purchase a couple things at a time, and having a Cart that allows all of it to be on one transaction is important to us.

The bad news, is that we had a much smaller time-table on relaunching the store than what it looks like the new integration will require. We are still shooting for a July Store Re-Launch but it is entirely possible it won't be ready for the first content patch. Instead of delaying the content patch to mirror the store release, we have decided that it is not fair to the players and will simply delay the store launch instead.

I have a feeling that you have actually inherited Soon™ from Jorb & Loftar, please try not to be too ambitious with you proposed schedule, its one thing for me to tell people I will have completed my home renovation in a year, its another for you to let us down with updates. Its much better to release something ahead of a slow schedule than fall behind repeatedly and let people down.

I'm not sure if you understood my post or if I communicated it poorly. The point I was trying to make is that we are doing everything in our power to not let you down on the July update. This meant delaying the store relaunch at the cost of making sure you get your early July content.

We understand the dangers of over-promising and under-delivering. We are doing our best to avoid solid concrete timetables that will arm you with hate the minute we miss step. However, in a community that has been accustom to going months without a patch, we feel value and a responsibility to obligate ourselves to releasing updates more frequently than previously experienced.
