How's the work on patch is going? Are we getting it sooner in December or later?

I somehow want to plan my studying schedule - where to put more of free time and also very curious = )

Last night I was asking myself if witches were going to suffer from "player-made church light". Is it gonna be like this?

So if you figure darkness as a negative value, "normal" as a the zero point, the light from churches (and other holy locations) would be positive?

This would mean witches can't fight on "holy ground" and "scalp" each other? There can only be one!

I was thinking about the new Lean to mechanics. Are keys going to be dropped as well if a players lean to is destroyed? Can keys be L3wted from lean to's? Destroying off Tclaim or off Pclaim lean to's could prevent that person from ever getting back into their base they temporarily left. L3wting all the keys from lean to's could really screw with minor characters.

Can keys be stolen?

I'm pretty sure leanto piñatas only drop peoples inventories. Not their tools, clothes, wallet and keys. I'm sure a dev will correct me if I am wrong. I would assume stuff in pockets is not safe either.

edit:

Even if keys are stolen, they are only of use to the person they are attuned to. I assume you must be new here mr Claeyt? ¦]

Still a good question, trolling aside. What happens when you lose that master key you've been keeping on your alt?

Personally, I think we just need to get abstract out the key mechanic. Just have the gates attuned to the claim owner when built or recognize the claim owner, kin list settings, or town permissions. Seems like I was after Seatribe to do the same thing. If you wanted "stolen keys" to be a thing, you could make a "locksmith" or "picklock" skill that would get you past a locked gate. (Hell, a locksmith skill that could make a master key or even just an attuned slave key would be awesome, too, and solve the problem.)

Why make such complex coding.

Like i been saying since i hear about this patch, Make an NPC in town who can hold 1 Key for a fee, and you can redeme it back at any time, or it can be redemed by a descendant if you die.

Simples..

I still think something like this would be a good addition to the new system. Yes bases will not decay without intervention from outside influences, but still...If you take a few months off the game, you can likely kiss your good stuffs goodbye. Would be nice to be able to come back to a few items that you feel would get you started, or perhaps just hang on to that one outfit for your main.
