Players will want to make a 'new' mine after the patch.... Yes.

sooo, we cant rebuild our current mine?
or do we have to have luck that a new mine is existant within out current base?
or how will that work?

since if you say now that we HAVE to move base to get to a new mine, ill not put to much time and effort in my current base...

After the 'December' Patch or after the 'January' 'Mining' Patch'?

...and to clarify like the guys above. You mean that the old legacy mines will only reach 60% while any new mines built after the 'Mining' patch will be able to get to better purity, but that those purity boulders will be more rare?

...also, is there any point to using pure rods now? Will that change after the 'Mining Patch'? How?

I agree. If consider that after december patch we will have to build a lot, it's pretty important to know that after january patch we will not have to rebuild everything again.

Jesus Christ. Can't you just nuke all mines instead then, or at least make all mine entrances "destroyable" as means to "reset" them? (Or at least make the claim owner able to "reset" mines in that way).

Well this will be a hassle since some bases need to be redesigned and we have no secure way of storing things... I think it will be a hard period of time for the newer players.

I don't see what it has to do with newer players. I think it'd be more of a pain for the established players.

I think established players have a somewhat secure base until now, also the biles and resources to defend themselves while they modify or build a new base. The newer players are more vulnerable now, having no decent defences nor resources to build a good base fast. Indeed, when talking about time and work spent on the current base, the established players would loose the most, but have the power and knowledge to rebuild faster.

Yes but a new player will be able to build a mine and their base around it. An established player will have to find a new mine and rebuild. What some people are worried about is that their current mine will be worthless. I'm not too fussed personally.
