Checked a bit of the other boulders in the area, but seems it might've been just the ones clustered together in preparation for a boundary stone xD Ah well, the rest seem fine, was just worried it'd be that way for the entire area.

I am sorry to bother you again. I hope I am not paranoid but can anyone tell me if it is possible to lay two boulders next to each other (lining them up with the right click)

I was wrong with the beavers but now I tested it carefully with the boulder an I don't get them

For ore boulders you need to rotate properly for them to snap to grid next to one another. I'd suggest right clicking the boulder above your head to get its ghost to place more carefully with the ctrl and shift modifiers for fine tuned rotation and non-grid-snappy placement.

To avoid clogging up the map size topic, I'll post my question here, and for the sake of raising the question before you go any further with the map resizing ideas.

What happens when townception? A town surrounded by the boundaries of a second town. The central town spams flags while the outer town acts as defense. You would effectively need to raid through one town of defenses to get to the defenses of the second town and THEN be able to drop a Trial by Birdpoop. I'd just hate to see the map get stabbed in the face over this mechanic only to see other oversights make it just as hard to poopclaim.

EDIT: Furthermore, what happens when people use boundaries as more distant outposts, say, like for claiming a lime pit as your town's property, only to find their boundry stone surrounded by a separate town, complete with boundrys of its own, walling their slice of claim in with a poopclaim sat smack in the middle of it, FOREVER AND EVER? xD

I'm not sure what you are asking about. Trial by fire has huge range, so both towns would be covered by it.

By "Trial by birdpoop" i am referring to the challenge authority structure. I feel that if someone is going to raid a town, dropping a temporary poopclaim that can easily be destroyed is not really going to be their goal. It would simply be counter-productive to go through all the effort of waste claiming solely to get through a thick line of defense and to the actual goal town-claim which needs to be challenged.

Yes, players could try to make towns around towns as a way to exploit the mechanic. Long term we hope to have a fix. Short term, I'll just nuke it when reported.

When do we get a doctor profession? I want to be a vet, it's clearly much needed. I just realized that all bears have severe osteoporosis! 1kg worth of bones for a 200kg+ beast sounds like they're pretty much made of jello. Pectin bears! ¦]
