@AnHeroPrime Well you right, but maybe soon they will buff wall HP or soak, because right now 10-15 raiding party with 160+ stats can destroy camp 100x100 with 2-3 layers of wall in one go?

BlackrCrackr wrote:So I tested last night after the splash was reduced and was able to build a split rail fence post outside of my friends claim destroyed it and I it dealt the splash and destroyed his first layer of 3 stone walls then built another starter post destroyed it and there goes his second layer and same with the third so I was able to get through 3 layers of stone wall without leaving a scent or activating any braziers just by building and destroying wooden fences so obviously they need to either make it so you can't build within the 3 tile radius that you can't claim near other claims or make it so lower tier walls don't affect higher tourer walls although then you could do the same thing with stone starter posts without any worry of Braziers till you can just run in and destroy them

Or you can expand your claim +10 tiles from your wall and then enemy will leave scents and will get dmg from braziers.

anywhos i pretty much just finished me second wall set, its 2 stone with a wee planker slap bang in the middle. Question is tho is it totally re-effin-dundant now because of the splash damage off the stonewall? will it take into account soak damage etc? sorta would suck massive donkey balls if the planker was uesless now as it took me bleedin ages to finish

We've already had a huge dry-up in the forums of any raiding at all. It looks like nothing is going on in this server the past couple weeks but farmville. Now, it looks like it's going to be even worse. I'll believe otherwise when I see a raid thread.

Just because I pay the treaty doesn't mean I want to be totally safe. The risk that someone could find me and steal my stuff made it interesting. But not so much anymore.

How on earth did you ever think that was even a good vault design in the first place?

Why do so many people keep talking like the damage from splash is the same as in the shot Mushibag took? It's been nerfed significantly. I tried it on a section of my wall I'm finally able to destroy (barely), and it only damaged the wall segment right next to it a little bit, that was it.

With the new super braziers, I don't see why we need more than maybe two walls spaced so they don't splash each other, and braziers. Sucks for people with a bunch of wall spam, but the devs have said for so long that they don't like wall spam, you had to have seen this coming.

I'll say this, I definitely do NOT want to see walls or their soak made even higher. You all say getting raided is bad for new player retention? How about the frustration of being inexperienced building walls, making one little mistake, and having that totally screw you for weeks until you're strong enough to finally destroy it? I almost abandoned my base entirely.

Why would I tell you anything? For all I know, you're one of my massive neighbors. The idea that the Tribe is the only large group on Plymouth is very false. I've seen no less than four huge, massively defended towns while just exploring my little neighborhood. I'm talking several claimed leantos and/or multiple pclaims.

Splash damage is fine, however - I feel the implementation would be better as follows:

1) Splash damage only occurs to the next 1-2 tiles in the direction the attacker is looking (no surrounding splash)
2) Splash damage never goes beyond 75% of the HP of the teared down wall segment to further wall segments (=> makes building and destroying a fence before the actual wall useless)
3) Splash damage never drops an entire wall segment (i.E. splash damage can cause up to 99% of damage but never 100% => you need to leave a scent and activate a brazier when breaking in)

Am I missing something?

4)Walls destroyed outside of claims does not deal splash damage to claimed walls
